Times are the chair time we actually book, not an optimistic guess. Prices are what you pay with no insurance at all, and they are the same for everyone who walks in.
New patient exam
Longer, because it is the only appointment where we know nothing. Full X-ray series, charting on every tooth, a look at your bite, and a written plan before anyone picks up a drill.
Toothache or emergency
Same week if we can and same day if you call before nine. We would rather see you at eight in the morning than have you at the hospital at midnight.
Filling
Tooth-coloured composite, one visit, matched to the tooth next to it. We will show you the photo first and tell you honestly if it can wait a year.
Same-day crown
Scanned, milled in the building, fitted the same afternoon. No temporary that falls off over the weekend, no second appointment, no second injection.
Implant consult
A scan, the options laid out including the ones that are not implants, and what each one costs. No charge, and no obligation to book anything at the end of it.
Whitening
Custom trays taken from a scan, not a boil-and-bite tray that leaks gel onto your gums. Done at home over two weeks.
Kids' visit
Cleaning, fluoride, and a first set of X-rays when they are ready for them and not before. If the first visit is only a ride in the chair, that is a good first visit.
Included, every time
None of this is an add-on, an upgrade, or a package with a name. It is what a checkup is, and it is the same for everyone whether or not you have insurance.

Digital X-rays
Bitewings once a year and a full series every five, which is the interval the evidence supports rather than the one that bills best. Digital sensors, so the dose is a fraction of film, and the image is on the screen next to you before you have sat up.

Oral cancer screening
Tongue, floor of the mouth, throat and neck, every checkup, on everyone. It takes ninety seconds. Caught early it is survivable, caught late it usually is not, and that gap is the whole argument for six-month visits.

Six points per tooth
Full periodontal charting, not a spot check on the teeth that are easy to reach. Every number goes next to last visit's number, so a pocket moving from 3mm to 5mm is a conversation we have early instead of a surprise later.

Intraoral photos
You see what we see, at size, on a screen you are looking at. Nobody should agree to a crown on the strength of somebody in a mask saying "ooh".

Blood pressure
Taken at every visit. For a lot of people the cleaning is the only appointment they keep all year, and a reading nobody else is taking is worth ninety seconds of yours.

A written plan
What needs doing now, what can wait, and what each of those costs once your plan has been applied. On paper, in your hand, before you leave. If we cannot explain why something is on that list, it comes off.
Straight answers
What we don't do
No membership you cannot leave. There is no plan to join, no annual fee, and no discount card. The self-pay prices on this page are the prices.
No quota. Nobody here is measured on treatment booked per visit. That is the single biggest reason a practice starts finding work that was not there last year.
No free consult that is a sales meeting. The implant consult costs nothing because it takes forty-five minutes and half of them end with "you do not need one".
No surprise on the bill. You get the number before the appointment, with your plan applied. If the estimate turns out wrong, we eat the difference.
Insurance
We file for you, whoever you are with. Most PPO plans pay preventive work in full, about 80% of fillings, and about half of crowns and implants, up to an annual maximum that resets on 1 January. Two identical visits six weeks apart can cost different amounts entirely because of where that maximum sits, which is why every bill here is broken down line by line.
